Teknam's roots go back to the establishment of Teknam Analytical Instruments Limited in 1992, and it has since diversified into manufacturing, services, and trading. Over the last decade, it has grown by capturing new markets and developing new products and services through strategic partnerships or greenfield and brownfield development projects.

Teknam and ERIH & The Company, both jointly owned, merged their operations in 2011 and restructured their organization under the Teknam Group in 2012. Today, Teknam's mission is to create value for the Group, monitor the activities of Group companies on behalf of shareholders, conduct financial audits, and manage control systems. Teknam aims to create competitive companies that place regional growth at the heart of their operations.

At Teknam, we believe that creating long-term shareholder value through innovation, best practices, corporate governance, and a distinct focus on risk management is far more important than simply generating traditional return on investment. Most of Teknam's companies are in the development or early stages of their life cycles. ERIH Energy Trading is the only energy commodity trading company operating in the European Energy Markets with energy and environmental products since 2008. Tech-Sen, on the other hand, is the only Turkish company that is the first and accredited developer and manufacturer of weather sensors in Türkiye – thanks to our R&D strength. Tech-Wind is the clear market leader in wind measurement systems and equipment, developed and manufactured entirely in-house. Our philanthropic initiative, myclimate Turkey, has been fighting climate change since 2011 by promoting a low-carbon society and economy in Türkiye. Teknam now aims to maximize the value of these services and brands in a global context.

Under the principle of responsible and transparent management, we maximize the value of each subsidiary by increasing business competitiveness and management efficiency. At the same time, we implement our "Independent, Yet Together" business philosophy by creating management synergy among each subsidiary.
