The Nizip Biogas Energy Plant (4.620 MWm / 4.503 MWe), to be established within the boundaries of Doğrular Neighborhood in Nizip District of Gaziantep Province, will contribute to both the national and regional economy by generating revenue through electricity, heat, and waste utilization once it becomes operational.

Turkey's reliance on imports to meet 60% of its energy needs, coupled with its limited fossil fuel reserves and dependence on foreign energy sources, necessitates a shift towards renewable energy sources.

Biogas, a renewable energy source, is a gas produced from the anaerobic fermentation of organic matter, containing methane, carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, and trace amounts of nitrogen and hydrogen. Biogas production occurs through anaerobic fermentation. This fermentation, chemically driven by the activity of various bacteria, consists of four stages.

-Hydrolysis,

• Acid Production,

• Acetic Acid Production,

-Methane Production,

It is in this form.

Livestock farming and the utilization of agricultural waste, which hold a significant place among renewable energy sources, are gaining importance in terms of environmental and energy optimization within sustainable development models.

Biogas production through anaerobic (oxygen-free) treatment provides savings in electricity, heat, waste utilization, and reduced greenhouse gas emissions.

Our Vision

Nizip Biogas, which recovers polluting organic waste by producing electricity and organic fertilizer through its biogas plant, aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from animal waste in the region where it is located, produce renewable energy, and increase the use of domestic and national resources in the country's energy supply.

To prevent the decrease in the organic content of the soil in the Gaziantep region and the country as a result of the increased use of chemical fertilizers, the company continues its investments without slowing down with the vision of making agricultural lands more productive by producing and distributing organic fertilizers and reaching target audiences.
