Founded in 1985, MEKATRON, specializing in Industrial Electrical and Electromechanical Systems, focused on lighting after extensive research and observations of developments in the lighting sector abroad, particularly in Europe.

Since its establishment, the company has made significant efforts to introduce halogen lighting and its integral component, the 12x50 watt SMP electronic transformer, to our country. It became a Limited Company in 2009. Seeing how little this type of lighting is widely used over the years rightfully fills our company with pride.

As the first company in Turkey to produce SMPS electronic transformers used in halogen lighting, it is a source of pride for us to see dozens of other companies producing these transformers in the market.

MEKATRON has been working on various projects, particularly for heating and electricity generation using solar energy, since 1987.

In 1996, MEKATRON conducted the studies and preliminary feasibility analyses for a wind energy electricity generation project planned for Bozcaada and submitted them to the General Directorate of TEAŞ (Turkish Electricity Transmission Corporation).

Since 2009, MEKATRON, with its expert staff, has been working both theoretically and practically to promote the widespread use of all renewable energy sources.
