The 7th Ordinary General Assembly of the Ankara City Council (AKK) was held with broad stakeholder participation under the main theme of "We are all patterns on the same rug." The OSTİM ecosystem also participated as a delegation in the general assembly, which brought together the city's collective intelligence and development vision.
The general assembly was attended by OSTİM OSB Board Chairman Orhan Aydın, Vice Chairman Sıtkı Öztuna, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Design at OSTİM Technical University Prof. Dr. Sare Sahil, OSTİM Foundation Director Gülnaz Karaosmanoğlu, and the coordinators of the sectoral clusters within OSTİM. Our cluster was represented at the event by Mehmet Suphi İnal, Coordinator of the OSTİM Renewable Energy and Environmental Technologies Cluster (OSTİM Enerjik).
Speaking at the general assembly, Orhan Aydın, Chairman of the Board of Directors of OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone, stated that they are working to make Ankara and Turkey globally competitive by expanding the model of cooperation, synergy, and joint competition through sectoral clusters implemented in line with the regional development vision. Expressing his appreciation for the work carried out by the Ankara City Council, Aydın emphasized the importance of the city's dynamics coming together in common goals.
AKK President Halil İbrahim Yılmaz emphasized the added value that participatory culture provides to the development of the city and shared the process of integrating the proposals produced within the council into urban policies.
