As part of the 4th UR-GE Project conducted by the OSTİM Renewable Energy and Environmental Technologies Cluster Association, the “Artificial Intelligence in Target Market and Commercial Intelligence Training in Export” was held on October 27, 2026, at the OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone Training Hall.

The training, given by Dr. Begüm Şahin, covered topics such as digital transformation in exports, the application of artificial intelligence in foreign trade processes, target market and potential customer research, business intelligence tools, and methods for creating effective prompts. The training also included information on the use of various data and business intelligence tools such as TradeMap, Trade Atlas, Tendata, D&B Hoovers, and Panjiva.

The training, supported by practical examples, focused on how AI-powered research methods can be used in target market, competitor, and customer analysis. Participants were also given information on the use of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and NotebookLM in foreign trade activities.

A total of 30 representatives from all 27 companies participating in the OSTİM ENERJİK 4th UR-GE Project attended the training. Participants included company managers and representatives from foreign trade, sales, marketing, business development, bidding, purchasing, and technical departments.

In the evaluations received from the participants at the end of the training, it was stated that the training topic was current and important from the perspective of foreign trade; and that it would be beneficial to increase the practical content, sector-specific examples, and longer-term studies.

OSTİM ENERJİK continues its activities aimed at supporting the export and internationalization capacities of its member companies within the scope of the UR-GE Project.
